Career Interest Inventory
This week every student has the opportunity to take a career interest inventory. It will be done on paper so parents can see it as well. This is a great opener to dialogue with your child about planning for one or more of the following things:
~Electives that match their career interests
~Early colleges in Wake County that offer something associated with one of their career interests-- https://www.wcpss.net/Page/27372
This is an EXCELLENT way to start workings towards a college degree while in high school!
~How to plan for a future career
Interest inventories are a great resource because they help a student understand how their interests relate to a possible future career. Parents can also contact the Career Development Coordinator, Stacy Baxley ,directly ([email protected]) if their student has an interest in a particular early college.
